The GeoMate Story

GeoMate was born from a fundamental insight about urban mobility needs, addressing the gap between costly traditional mapping and precision data demands through AI algorithms, geospatial models and high-resolution imagery for centimetre-accurate mapping without fieldwork constraints.

GeoMate's Co-Founder and CEO
Dr. Amin Gharebaghi

Dr. Amin Gharebaghi, holds a PhD from Université Laval, where his research focused on urban GIS technologies. His groundbreaking work—including four published papers on the physical causes of inaccessibility—laid the foundation for GeoMate's mission to develop mapping technology that supports users from all walks of life and fosters more inclusive urban environments.

With decades of industry experience, including leadership roles and founding consulting firms in the mobility domain, his work bridges the gap between geospatial science and real-world mobility applications, with a strong focus on automation, urban analytics, and intelligent infrastructure.

Dr. Nastaran Saberi

Dr. Nastaran Saberi, holds a Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Waterloo, where her research focused on advanced remote sensing and geospatial analytics.

Nastaran leads our engineering and research teams and as the architect of GeoMate's technical vision with decades of experience in remote sensing, computer vision, and spatial data intelligence. She leads the development of scalable, imagery-based HD mapping technologies that support next-generation mobility systems.
